Storytelling

Arriving to the Griffith Observatory.. a magical atmosphere that makes you feel elevated. Many taxis, ubers, etc. are here for business and waiting along this one way road.
Walking up the stairs is usually asking a lot from me, but the view that is peaking through is worth the sweat.
Feeling a bit like I’m in a spectacle.. I look up and smile at a familiar back.
And then he turns, a sweet face looks back at me too make sure I’m not falling down from the stairs the way I always express I feel walking up stairs.
We exchange confirmation of safety and that we’re having a good time and he can now continue this beautiful path.
Ibiza Quiroz age 19, waiting for the “Light of the Valkyries” show too begin algo side lover Joshua Rivas age 19. Taking advantage of the cool blue light.

I chose this story because it is always such a magical experience for me when I visit this place that I don’t even mind the drive with and 1and a half of traffic. This place is so beautiful but I wanted too capture another aspect of why it’s such a magical experience for me. I think for my preference, I love blurry, mystical pictures that are kind of dark and unexpected. The best image in my story is the 4th image where Joshua looks back to check on me. It gives me motivation and strength whenever he does that and I wanted to share that with you all. My photo story does contain an “image” that wouldn’t be considered art if I hadn’t portrayed it to be that way. The view of the one way road and and the taxi may not be looked at as art. Although I still believe it is a signature trait of the Griffith observatory since you have to travel on it to get there. If there were another occasion that involved this I would probably take more pictures of the structure of the building and instead tell that story which is also very fascinating.
